Zilant Swamp

This lawless, cursed land is the result of unfettered exposure to the undeath that flows from the World's Scar.
In the age of the Old Elves, this region included dozens of cities, not unlike Karakse-tal or Barad-tal, that all grew together in that golden age.
Now it is a frightening and highly dangerous swamp, filled with all manner of monster and horror. The only residents of this inhospitable region are the elves that remained as the area decayed, or settlers that have come from the other regions of the continent, remaining huddled around the Road of One Thousand Pillars, such as in the cities of Shadeport and Swampside.
