The World's Scar

The remnant of the cataclysmic event put into motion by the Old Elves that created enormous imposing cliffs running the length of the world, and unleashed the current plague of undeath.
The mythical queen of the Vetus, through ancient, unknown magic, lifted an entire portion of the lands to the north skyward. The motivations are still mostly not understood but it is widely theorized that the Queen was planning the construction of the largest tower ever yet erected, made from the very earth itself. This first lifted layer of the world to serve as its foundation.
