The Road of One Thousand Pillars

This giant bridge connects the old great cities of the Old Elves, running hundreds of miles north and south. Starting in Karakse-tal at the south to Barad-tal and then continuing north to an unknown destination.
For most of its length, it stands high above the cursed Zilant Swamp, most of its huge pillars also act as a connection between the road and the grounds below. The largest settlements of the Swamp are founded around these pillars, the most well-known being Swampside and Shadeport.
In many spots along the road, you'll find makeshift temporary settlements, folks using the safety of the height of the road to escape the horrors of the Swamp at night.
