Shadeport
The largest settlement in the Zilant Swamp. Like most other human settlements of Zilant this city surrounds the base of one of the tremendous pillars of the Road of One Thousand Pillars, built among sinking ruins of the lost cities of the Vetus Empire.
Locals will refer to Shadeport as the capital of Swamp, although the region does not really have any official capital, nor indeed any real leadership structure. Although King Balaur III proclaimed all lands south of the Hellish Cliffs to be under the authority of Karakses, he, like anyone, is not making any effort to hold or defend the cursed land.
