Balaur III

Lord of Karakse-tal, King of Karakses, King of All Clans

In May of 1101 SA, the Alerian Church crowned an old man from the Whitethorn family, and claimed him to be of the lineage of the ancient hero Balaur. They gave him the same name declaring him Balaur II, King of All Clans to much fanfare and little execution.
In May of 1106 SA, the old king passed away and was succeeded by his son and heir, who immediately decreed that all lands south of the hellish cliffs were in his domain, and all lords therein were to swear fealty, establishing the Kingdom of Karakses.
After kingdoms began forming in defiance of this decree, the King declared war on Torana, claiming it would be the first kingdom to be incorporated into his empire.
While his first son leads the The King's Army against Torana, it's rumored that presently the King is traveling down the coast with his family to meet with the King of Bywater.
