Lord of Karakse-tal, King of All Clans

In the years leading up to the The Scarring of The World , the Vetus repeatedly attempted to subjugate the humans now settled in the region today known as the Midlands.
Eventually, a hero arose among the clans, rallying them against the elves. As the Cataclysm began, this new King led a campaign against the Vetus Empire invading Karakse-tal.
It's believed that Aleria herself descended from her court in the heavens and gave King Balaur a blessed blade with which to confront and finally execute the Eternal Queen.
After the defeat of the Old Elves, the human clans spent years sacking the City of the Tower and the Tower of Aleria. They destroyed vast amounts of history and knowledge in this time, plunging the continent into a dark era, all but lost to time. Even Balaur's eventual fate is highly debated, all that's known for sure is no king followed in his place, and after his death, the human clans split once again.
