The Shedai adventurer Zephyra is born at the Beacon in The Land of Ice and Shadow. Her birth was kept secret due to certain circumstances, however it was later discovered by members of the High Caste.
The Kingslander adventurer Orpheo Alontar is born in an estate near the city of Voldrad. He is the son of Garrus Alontar, a famed warrior and leader of the Iron Legion.
The Daku adventurer Barf is born somewhere in The Wild Coast. Only a few years later he is captured, trained, and sold in Sarthon to bounty hunters.
A civil war rages in Tillain due to a succession crisis caused by the uncertain parentage of the former High King's heir. The King's nephew, known as the Prince of Flames, disputes this and rallies his armies, facing off against his former friend Tolgaine, the Shield of Tillain. The Prince of Flames wins the war after the Battle of Tassendar Fields and Tolgaine is sent into exile. The Civil War of Tillain is considered one of the darkest points in the nations recent memory, causing a great deal of tension between the various realms of the High Kingdom.
Barf has been serving as a bounty hunter in the city of Sarthon for several years, being used for his keen sense of smell to track down bounties for his masters. However, one day while on the job, they encounter a strange old man named Abruuz who soundly defeats the bounty hunters with Barf, yet offers the young Daku a different path; join The Exiles on their journey to The Wild Coast and free himself of the chains that bind him.
A group of exiles from Tillain, Daskar, and the Borderlands leave their former homes behind to find refuge in the harsh lands known as the Wild Coast.
The Exiles land in the Wild Coast, forming a temporary settlement near the city of Northport while they prepare to look for a new home.
A group of strong-willed and daring souls are selected from the Exiles by their leader Tolgaine to set out into the Wild Coast in search of a new home for their people. Among them are Orpheo Alontar, Shaakir Al-Rabani, the Gigantes warrior Raneth, the druid Onacona, Barf the Daku, and the exiled Shedai Zephyra Waydin.
Having journeyed to the city of Northport to gather supplies, The Wolf Pack takes on a job from the local Goldseal Financier, Yaun Verdatte, to locate a lost ship that carried important documents. The group finds the vessel shipwrecked upon the coast and full of Feriles. They slay the creatures and recover the documents, returning to the city to receive their payment.
The Wolf Pack decides to explore the location of Berengar's Hollow on the first leg of their exploration of The Wild Coast. On their way to the town of Bereton, they stop at the Grenway Inn a small rest stop for merchants traveling between the farm town and Northport, as torrential rains have swamped the nearby bridge. While there, strange events begin happening, and as the party begins investigating a murder, things begin to take a more terrifying turn, culminating in an encounter with the dark, corrupted spirit of a tree that later escapes its confines. Having survived the ordeal, the adventurers are quick to leave once the weather clears.
The Wolf Pack reaches the town of Bereton, where they assist the local Seedbearer of Elsaph with a dangerous necromancer. They also learn that a giant lurks in nearby Berengar's Hollow, a location considered suitable for a potential settlement. The party decides to take up the offer of the reward of ridding the town of the giant while pursuing their own goal of scouting the location. They also accept the assistance of a local trapper named Kadark as well as two mercenaries named Singer and Kel.
The Wolf Pack travels from Bereton to Berengar's Hollow, where they discover the Giant and his manticore pet. Formulating a clever plan, they lure the manticore away where they slay the creature, only to enrage the giant into attacking them. The battle is fierce and some of the party are badly injured, but they are ultimately successful in slaying the giant as well, freeing the town from the threat it posed and giving them an opportunity to judge if the area would be a suitable area for The Exiles to settle.
The Wolf Pack explores the area around Berengar's Hollow to determine if it might be a suitable location for The Exiles. They discover an iron mine nearby that has been abandoned for several decades, though the circumstances surrounding it were unclear.
The Wolf Pack leaves Berengar's Hollow and returns to the farming town of Bereton to collect their reward; later they celebrate the nameday of Zephyra and the success of their mission.
The Wolf Pack, having been escorted out of Bereton after being played for a fire at the local inn, took the offer of Singer to meet with his and Kel's companions. These companions turned out to be a group known as The Chipped Spear, a group of Iron Legion exiles who fought on the losing side of the civil war. They are led by a man named Mathias Warwick, known as the Warlord, and while they consider themselves freedom fighters to most they are nothing more than bandits.
The Wolf Pack joins The Chipped Spear in raiding an Iron Legion outpost at the urging of Mathias Warwick. The raid is ultimately successful, though there are several casualties on the side of the Legion. The outpost is looted, and the captured prisoners are left under the control of Mathias and his group as the Wolf Pack departs to return once more to the camp of The Exiles with their new supplies.
The Wolfpack travels to a quaint farm town by the name of Logan's rest. They come upon a harvest Festival put on the locals for the coming summer. They meet a mysterious hermit who goes by the Shepard who is rumoured to protect the lands and bless the crops as part of this festival. He asks the Wolfpack for assistance with a magically tainted beast that stalks the lands known as the Crop-eater. After dispatching this foe, the Shepard provides the Wolfpack with information of how to potentially rid themselves of the skulking fey creature that follows them. He mentions a place placed the Stone of Dreams and how it may allow them to get more information needed to drive the creature off.
The Wolfpack reaches the settlement of Eldbridge on the Bluevein River.
The Wolfpack reaches the Stone of Dreams, where they enact it's magic in order to see through the eyes of Zephyra's ancestor Weydari, who lived over 4000 years agi and was a friend of Nalshani and one of the Aluthai heroes who first learned the gift of magic from the Dragons, who used it along with her companions to defeat the Last Titan.
After learning from the Stone of Dreams, the Wolfpack splits in two, one group continuing the main goal of finding a settlement while the other heads east in search of clues that might help them discover a way to defeat Nalshani.
The Wolfpack encounters a merchant named Herbert whose caravan is being attacked by a griffon on the way to the town of Oldwayne.
The Wolfpack reaches the town of Oldwayne, where they discover information that Kaleen Ostanda was there but left to investigate and ancient Aluthai structure in the mountains near the town. They high a local tracker to get them there.
The Wolfpack enters an Aluthai dam in search of Kaleen Ostanda, who they find investigating the ruins inside. Kaleen and her party have been attacked by Grollocks, and won't help the party until they help deal with them. The two groups combine and defeat the Grollock Spinelord, but while searching the ruins they run afoul of one of Nalshani's 'pranks.' Trapped inside with the core of the dam set to explode, the party barely manages to escape before the dam blow, unleashing a torrent of water downstream as well as creating a magical rift where the structure used to stand.
After being teleported via tree by a powerful member of the druid conclave, the Wolfpack arrives in Kingslake, where they meet a young woman named Len who introduces them to the leader of the settlement, another young man named Tabrian, the River's Prince. They convince Tabrian to lone them the use of his ship to travel downriver if they help him defeat the wyverns that have been plaguing the land.
The group travels downriver aboard Tabrian's ship, the River Goddess, to an ancient Aluthai ruined city where they discover the lair of the great wyvern that has been plaguing the land.
After defeating the wyvern, the group decides to raid an ancient treasure vault. The recover many rare and magical items, but another prank by Nalshani traps them inside and forces them to travel through grollock infested tunnels. They learn that the grollocks may somehow be related to the ancient Aluthai. They manage to escape the tunnels, only to find the sun has set on the city and the ancient spirits of the dead are out to get them.
The group encounters a warband of the Springpaw Fox Clan, who are angry that they awoke the spirits of the city. In order to make amends, the Wolfpack agrees to assist the Erktuus in finding out what has been happening to many of their people who have gone missing.
The Wolfpack, alongside a Springpaw Fox warband called the Ash'ti'auk, engage with a group of unknown humanoids that have animalistic features. Their is a fierce skirmish between the two forces. The Wolfpack and the Ash'ti'auk, who seem overmatched, are saved by the appearance of a great Phoenix, which turns the tide of battle in their favour.
The Wolfpack continues downriver to an abandoned settlement on Silverlight Lake called Misty Shores. The group investigates the mysterious disappearance of the colonists there, only to discover a terrifying demonic entity has pervaded the town. They manage to drive this entity, called Bishaz'narak, away from the town, though at the cost of the last of the original colonist's life.
The Wolf Pack returns to The Exiles, informing them of their success in their mission, and mourning the loss of the hero Onacona. After much deliberation, the people choose their new home, and set forth to finally find their place in this new world.
Months after traveling to their new home on Silverlight Lake, the new home of the Exiles, known as Phoenix Landing, is hard at work preparing for the winter. Though the situation facing them is difficult, hope remains for those who are thankful to have found a new place to settle. The Wolf Pack has been settling in as well, and celebrates the recent arrival of their friends in the Kingslake Three, though the arrival of a strange shape in the skies heralds the potential for a growing danger.
The Wolf Pack investigates rumors of a strange voice singing in the woods, scaring the lumberjacks away from their work. After investigating, they discover a tree whose song lures unwary travelers, and when one of their own is captured by its spell, they are forced to destroy it, splitting it in two and bringing its song to an end.
