The Strange Manuscript

The team come across a strange manuscript in the tower ruins. It seems to be made of some type of skin or vellum, and wrote in a strange language.

Plot points/Scenes

The team get word that a strange manuscript in the ruined tower. This appears to be made of a vellum of unknown origin and very old, and how old is unknown. Written in a language of unknown origin, they can attempt to decipher what it says. This will require an expert in languages or someone that knows a Comprehend Language spell. When they do it reveals a dark secret.   It turns out the page is wrote in Deep Speech, and it appears to be an original page of an ancient grimoire from somewhere in the Persian region of the Middle East. Likely coming from the area of Babylon, when read at least out loud, it will have sinister connotations.   When read, it is a spell that aligns the stars to call down the children of those stars.   When done, that night will be a clear night and the stars seem to shift. Within a few hours a Star Spawn Seer will appear along with some Grue 2d4 and a couple of hulks 1d2 . A few of the locals & dogs could change too 1d8 adding to the numbers on a 50% chance 1d100 .   The team has to work out what to do. Reading through some of the texts that accompany the page, it turns out that it happened before in Roman times. The only way is to read the page backwards in the southeastern grove to stop it.    As long as any of the creatures remain then there is a risk of it continuing. The only way to destroy the page is to burn it in holy fire using oak, or ash wood, in one of the groves.
