Scene 6.2: “We’re In Barker’s Tavern, But Where’s the Tavern?”
In Barker's Tavern, Paolo Garcia and Gabriel Trent have been happily reunited. Cedric Bourbon, Jesse Peters and Virgil are there too. Hieronymous Barker is unconscious on the floor, as he ran into the door to the back room just as Paolo opened it from the other side. Barker was trying to get away from Trent, Jesse and Bourbon when it happened.
Paolo is convinced that they’re in Tethys Town, on Calypso, because that’s where Barker’s Tavern usually is. He won’t accept his friends’s assurances that the tavern has been relocated to Myrtle’s Beach, because he’s convinced that they’re trying to get back at him for messing with them so many times.
Trent brings Paolo outside the tavern, and Paolo finally accepts that they’re in Myrtle’s Beach.
