Calypso

Calypso is the only planet in the Goldilocks Zone of the star Ilyria. It’s an Earth-like planet with many settlements.

Ogygia, Calypso’s moon, is tidally locked to Calypso and has an atmosphere that is breathable to carbon based life forms.

The Illyrian System is close to the Coalition border, with Humbaba as the closest neighboring system. Calypso has the largest natural occurrence of the metal te[Tethynium] which is needed for the ships of the Fleet. Both of these factors make the Illyrian System strategically important to the Coalition. Which is why a military base was established on Ogygia in 2954.
