Heironymous Elias Barker

Barker was part of the Coalition Fleet's cloning program, using the DNA of a juvenile delinquent with anti-social disorders as a template.

Barker's identical pod brothers where in their upper teens, just like their donor brother, but the engineers at the cloning plant manipulated the process so that Barker was advanced to the age of 50 years old when he emerged from the cloning pod.

The intention was that Barker would become an undercover operative, by giving him false memories, but they made the cover too good so that he became useless as an operative, so he was abandoned and cut loose by Coalition Military Intelligence.

His cover was that he was retired Captain from the Coalition Space Fleet who'd bought a tavern in Tethys Town on Calypso, while there were some vague implanted memories of being a spy. His resulting odd behavior started rumors in Tethys Town that he was a spy, which got back to him and because he remembered being a spy, he behaved even more oddly.
