Eberon (Territory)

Moderate and temperate in the south and permanently frozen with year-round snows in the hills of the north, Eberon (Territory) is small in comparison with the other six territories, but it has fertile lands and produces enough food, lumber and iron to be self-sufficient. And it’s good that it does because the fractious political climate, fragile internal peace and lack of centralized leadership creates difficulties for establishing stable and meaningful trade with either of its neighbors, Empyrea and Aerwynn.
Trade with Aerwynn is also further complicated by the mountainous border between the two countries, a geographic boundary that frustrates ease of travel back and forth. Most trade is conducted at the southern end of the border and political difficulties make trade between the three principalities a complicated matter.
The two major rivers, The Merxes and The Tiphretis, divide the country into three parts, each of which has its own government and the three can be called upon to work together to address even major crises only with irregularity.
