Pelican Sound

A large bay in central north Empyrea, Pelican Sound is home to two small islands called the Twins. They don't have individual names, likely because no one lives there. At least not full time. There may be some Skeema who call the Twins home intermittently, but the Skeema don't give names to geographical features, or, if they do, they don't share them with the Damarani.
The Sound is only passable for about two months out of the year in the very height of summer. The rest of the time it is either frozen over or so filled with ice that to attempt to navigate it would be foolhearty if not suicidal. For most of the year, one can walk from one of the Twins to the other.
