History

Valcrunum Crystals after the power of that keep Dwarven society running as there power help run their machines as pure energy is contained inside of them. Though the origins of how this energy was trapped inside theses crystals is still unknown, they are high valued by the Dwarves as one of the three great gifts bestowed to them by the mountains and ensure that they remain in their grasp. For many of theses crystal have been powering their machines for centuries without losing their power and bring life throughout the halls of every Dwarven settlement across the Continent of Dageth.

Discovery

It was said to have been discovered by the first Dwarves that entered The Deep to mine it for resources. When they were brought back to their holds and after test were done to discover their potential, they were quickly used in early machinery to power them

Everyday use

These crystal are used to power the advanced machinery of the Dwarves as they admit a powerful energy when electricity is pulsed through them.

Industrial Use

It is used to power machinery that are used in manufacturing and buildings. The color that is in the center of the crystal often determines the power it can generate and what it should be powering.

Manufacturing & Products

They are clean and cut in order for them to be more powerful when used.

Byproducts & Sideproducts

The remain of cut crystal are often used as light sources in lanterns and other similar versions of it.

Hazards

Refining the crystal must be done with delicate hands as cuting could shatter the crystal and relaese the energy inside of it create a small explosion that could cause harm to anyone near. Overloading the crystal with too much electricity can cause it to explode as well, but with a larger explosion.

Once a crystal dies it is often turned into jewelry as it is still beautiful to wear by the Dwarves
