The demons were the first mortal race to be created. The were created in secret by the youngest of the eight gods . When the other gods discovered him and dragged him away from the Land he had created the sun burnes the skin of the demons and turnes it black and ugly. The god that had created them then was banished on the Land he had created to live amongst his creation and was henceforth called devil .
The demons hate all beeings that are unscorched. They also hate the sun as it keeps burning their skin. During daylight they hide in caves huddled closely together as the land they live in, the great desert, is barren and offers no protection over ground.

Demons are born normal skinned but the first touch by the sun will burn their skin. After birth the infants are as soon as possible exposed to sunlight to see if they are strong enough to survive.

optimal enviroment would have no sun, but as they live in a barren desert they come out only at night
