"The seven gods are the creators of the seven mortal races. They each created a race to protect them from the demons, the creation of the devil. [...] When during the great demonwar the demons proved to strong for the united power of the seven mortal races the gods did not listen to the plea for help from their creations. This can only be for one reason: One of them, the most powerfull and wise of all, our creator, knewt hat mankind was strong enough to defeat the demonhordes. For we did not loose this war because the united force of all mortal races was not enough but because united we were only as strong as our weakest part. He, in his alknowing might knew this and would have let us prove our strengh to the other races, had not some of the other divine beeings acted against His command. As they descended and turned the tides of battle they won the glory that should have been ours."
