Demons are the creation of the devil. They were the first mortal race living on the Land yet are not usually counted among the other mortal races. During the great demonwar they almost destroyed the oher mortal races but finally were defeated with help from immortal spirits. These summoned the souldestroyer  which onsumed all the demons´ souls. After this they were easy game for the ramainder of the mortal army.
During the second Order they play no significant roll and only ever appear in small raids on the borders of their land, the Great Desert . They never recover from the loss of their souls and ac more like wild beasts than intelligent beeings.
