Deputy Constable Zanderbey Crows (a.k.a. "Crow")

Zanderbey is new, idealistic member of the Stewards, agile in both body and mind. He is often accompanied by his pet drone, Shadowfox.

Silver necklace from his home, in the shape of a dragon wrapped around a spark plug.

Apparel & Accessories

Steward field uniform. Also wears a woven leather bracelet with three charms interlaced with it. The charms represent family, wisdom and intelligence. Also wears a blue and gold bandana around his left wrist, and another around his neck.
Usually wears a clean white shirt underneath a hooded flight jacket, and Triaxite-designed trousers with faux-dragonhide to protect the knees, shins and outside of the thighs. His carefully shined, sturdy, black combat boots are a holdover from his time at the Stewards Academy. Recently, he has modified these with additional armour plating from his replicator.

Personal history

1. 297AG: Zanderbey is born.
2. Zanderbey joins in the family tradition at their local temple of Yaraesa.
3. 310AG: Transferred to a mixed-class school. He was one of the minority, a human in a sea of draconic heritage. Once students realised his intelligence, several dragonborn and half-dragons began using him for his intellect to boost their own failing grades. Some befriended Zanderbey, discarding him once their grades had risen to acceptable levels. Others took a more violent option, threatening beatings and burns if he didn't increase their grades. Over time, these false friends cycled in and out of his life.
4. 311AG: Zanderbey has been at school for a year, and made friends with most 'softskins' as well as made the acquaintance of a few dragon-blooded students. A new student arrived: a drow girl named Lirdayne of House Arabend. Her sister and two cousins arrived with her, their horrendously overpriced tuition paid in full. At first they were isolated from the rest of school society, only associating with themselves. After a few months, they appeared to have a sudden change of heart and began befriending the softskins, with the obvious purpose of blending in and hiding from the displeasure of the prestigious draconics. Zanderbey and Lirdayne became close friends until she was whisked away back to Apostae where she would receive a graduation certificate from a school there.
5. 315AG: Graduated from school with honours, mostly in intellectual-focussed studies. Because he was not of draconic heritage the traditional honour of giving a speech was taken from him, and given to the principal.
6. 317AG: Zanderbey is assigned a routine mission, to investigate a research station in a land of frozen ice. He would be assigned a partner, Tyrfing. The reports can be found below:

7. 24/5/317: Zanderbey returns to civilisation with Tyrfing, where they are attacked by bounty hunters seeking to destroy valuable information they hold.

11. 24/10/324AG: After leaving the Drift Rock aboard the PWS Sunrise Maiden, the starship came under attack by a pair of Corpse Fleet attackers. Zanderbey spent some time in the engine room before taking a gunner's seat and (as Tyrfing said) "slapping that ass."
    
    After redocking at Absalom Station, Zanderbey distracted the waiting horde of reporters while Julakesh and Tyrfing smuggled Hebiza in a crate. He met with the others at the Lorespire Complex, where he rebuilt Shadowfox's shattered 'shell' while waiting for his friends to heal.
12. 25/10/324AG: The next day, Urbemor politely demanded the group's presence for a lunch. While the illithid consumed a vat-grown brain, the Starfinder Society's gestalt VI that the runes found in the ancient computers aboard the Drift Rock have been seen before - in the unreliable journals of Indigo Ana'jon. Urbemor sent the group to Castrovel, where they could uncover this frail connection. The day ended with a quick visit to Chriogrim the Broken, who was displeased with the group (despite returning LT Hebiza Escolar to him) and dismissed their services after paying their fee.

Motivation

As a child, Zanderbey looked up to the Stewards, as he viewed them to be heroes that constantly saved the Pact Worlds from certain peril. Now that he has joined their ranks, he looks forward to the day when citizens look up to him with the same kind of awe that he did as a child.
