Lieutenant Hebiza Escobar is fleeing the clutches of the homocidal Corpse Fleet, although her reasons for doing so are currently unknown. The only clue to her allegiance lies in the fact that Chriogrim the Broken has arranged for resources to be allocated to her retrieval.

Being an undead creature, Hebiza has a certain immunity to many effects that would trouble a living creature: she isn't concerned about disease nor exhaustion, and her body doesn't need to sleep. She has the hints of unnatural strength exemplified by most undead but seems to have spent her extra years focusing on study.

Personal history

1. The PWS Acreon transported her into the Pact Worlds in a shipping container. This plan went awry when the crew were killed by akata.
2. 24/10/324AG: Julakesh, Tyrfing, Zanderbey and Dash Starlight are requested by Chriogrim the Broken to discreetly recover "a package" during their investigation of the PWS Acreon. Hebiza emerges, and upon discovering the missing Hippocampus, proceeds to assist them in their escape.
3. 24/10/324AG: Hebiza is attacked by a pair of Corpse Fleet starships. With the help of Tyrfing, Zanderbey, and Julakesh they defend themselves and make their way back to Absalom Station. To smuggle her into the Station, they fit her into a crate with a wounded Julakesh on top and Tyrfing pushing him through the crowd of curious onlookers and pushy reporters - assisted by Zanderbey running interference by answering reporters' questions. After a narrow escape from Urbemor's suspicions, Hebiza's crate was delivered by Orgren to the Eoxian Embassy, where she "received her reward" with an unknown vampire.
