Summer Camp 2023
This year I am using Summer Camp to try to jumpstart an idea that's been bouncing around in my head. I'm not really setting a firm goal this time; while I usually go for diamond, I've been in something of a writing slump since last year, and this is a very new idea, so I have only a handful of concepts to build upon. I am planning to do at least copper, and will keep trying to do more.
But at the same time, I'm also working on other projects this month (some home improvement stuff, and more general wellness stuff like trying to stick to a habit of a consistent sleep schedule - as someone who has suffered from some degree of insommnia since at least my early teens, this does not come naturally for me). So...my available time is somewhat limited and I'll be actively trying to avoid those late night writing sessions that stretch deep into the early hours of the morning.
And yes, I could have done a lot more had I remembered that June typically involved a lot of pre-Summer Camp hype and preparation that would let me have everything ready. And I did remember...in April, and May, and on June 29th. So...yeah, I kinda missed that opportunity. But I didn't forget about Summer Camp itself! Who could forget that! Oh right, me in 2019. Whoops! But it's not 2019 this year, it's 2023, and I have not forgotten! On with the articles!
