War Throat
SPOILER CONTENT: PLOT WORK
History:
A new form of spells as Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan began teaching her clan how to use their ancestral magic after it had been sealed away from them for Eons. All Goblins of the Skullbrood Clan hold a Talent born into their blood by right of birth, this talent is intrinsically linked to The Corpse Woman that follows the High Priestess. While their original magic was entirely based off Brownie Speech, the countless generational chains to their false god Bhal, The Great Father, had render their souls charred. The Brownie speech of the Goblins has become tainted with the corruption of the Shadows, the Divine Spark still clean from this influence however, has allowed a new form of magic to blossom among the Branches of the Great Tree. A magic omnipotent, powerful, and agnostic to any god former or false. For this magic is born from Ilgor's own Divine Spark, like the fledgling gods: Anlyth, First Son of Syn, Taneth The Navigator, Y'vitol, Ilgor has began walking a path not seen since the War of the Shadows. As both the Father and Mother to her clan now, both the High Priestess and the Chief, she has broken Bhal's hold over herself and awoken many of her racial abilities as a Brownie. Freely able to shapeshift once more, freely able to break the chains holding her people that repress their abilities as well. When she returned to The Branches of the Great Tree from The Elsewhere, she brought with her a dark-light. The stars of Vilorlith, fully realized, radiate with her Tether to their long forgotten original goddess. The first thing she offered her people was to break their chains, and to teach them to become what they were always meant to be once more. This first among the Goblins to step forward and accept this gift from their Priestess was Knoll of the Skullbrood Clan. Knoll when taught this magic, became something else, something to fear should anything cross the Clan or threaten Ilgor's safety. He is known as many things, The First Paladin of the Stars, The War Throat, The Bulwark, The Song without Music.Effect
When Knoll uses this spell, it is oft misunderstood on multiple levels. Some believe this sonic echo is a sheer manipulation of the mind, breaking the will of those who hear it. Some believe it is form of primal fear when heard, while others believe it is a spell meant to manipulate emotions. The truth of the matter is this: Knoll forces all those who hear this wordless roar to relive his experience on The Red Rock. In a fraction of a moment all those here this sound are assailed with ever ounce of trauma and fear he has dealt with for decades.
This spell breaks the will of any who hears this, everything from Animals to Beasts to Man to actual Monsters. The only ones that are immune to this are the other Goblins, nearly all of this new magic is ineffective when used against its own source. Only those with the strongest minds are even potentially capable of resisting it.
Side/Secondary Effects
Knoll rarely uses this spell because while he immune to its effect, he is its source. The magic resonates with his soul and power, with vivid detail he remembers the death, the blood, the thuds up his arms as he killed and killed and killed to save those few who survived that horrid place. Dark things that haunt him fill his eyes until he only sees the blood that flowed off the mountain, an unstoppable rage that cannot be quelled until he has exhausted every last ounce of his strength, he has nearly died each and every time he uses his spell. The physical and mental toll are great, though, when pointed in the right direction, he is a death sentence to everything before him.
Manifestation
The legion stopped when they heard the forest grow silent. The mists hung heavy as the Calphiti army stopped on The Azure Coast, a cold sweat having broken on the face of nearly every man looking about with a hesitation felt only on the eve of battle. We heard a voice echo through the trees, deep, angry.
"Damocles would be a fitting moment, you have threatened my people, stepped foot on the grounds of my home. There is no point in running, for you are already dead." The Generals issued a general retreat back to the ships, we hadn't seen the Galacian shock fleet stalking us as we beached here, as torpedos ripped holes into the hulls of the Ironclads. Colossal booms sounding out causing vast flocks of birds to scatter from the Ancient Forest.
I turned to see three figures standing just outside the tree line. The descriptions and briefings given to us all before we launched our assault suddenly clicked into my mind. The High Priestess was already weaving a storm into the sky as the clouds split with thunder. The Fighter already punching holes in our front line with gunshots to the General's heads. While The Bulwark silenced everything, the only noise we heard was an intake of breath, then nothing. A soul crushing roar filled with the sorrow and hatred of a thousand lives washed over the legion, I felt my knees buckle coving my ears screaming for it all to stop.
He gave us our wish, the last thing I remember was the fury in his eyes.

Discovery
When Knoll had first used his voice attempting to cast a very different spell, he learned the full weight of the Divine power given to his people. By accident the required the entire clan to calm the hellfire felt in his soul, he created this spell. While, this spell had been benificial to the Clan by protecting their shores from an invading Calphiti Legion, it took its toll.
