Divine Spark

The one thing the Shadows could never strip from the survivors of the War. The one thing they could never snuff out, the one thing they fear. The Spark is what allows all to be able to cast magic, the Spark is what allows those to beat back the sickness. The spark is what will allow all to become gods in time. That spark was always meant to grow and surpass the original four.

Causes

A disease the Shadows would have you believe, those things you call gods. Taught to reject what glory exists in the soul, taught to think that only some few are capable of utilizing it, taught that it is a force to be feared and shunned. I beseech thee and look within yourself. For it is born of a root deep and glorious.
That etching into your soul, that touch that is the effect of an unconditional love. That feeling in your heart, that sense of belonging, do not hide from it. They gave you a piece of themselves, they gave you a spark of light that will expand endlessly into this darkness. It will grow with you, it will teach you as much as they have ever.
Run from the lies of the Shadows. Return to the beginning, come home and feel the warmth of hearth of a fire lit in the chest to grace you in times of sorrow, in times of joy, in times of struggle and times filled with a boon beyond measure.
Remember that spark inside you is the source of The Quartet, they gave you a piece of their godhood. They gave you a piece of the universe to nurture. They gave you the one tool the Shadows could never touch, for you are still Children of the gods.
