Doudra, Emperor of Drubia, the 6th

Doudra Kulsavas (a.k.a. The Blood and Bones Dragon, The Blood Lord)

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The 6th child of the Golden Dragon and Bronze Queen, Doudra, was a very strange child growing up, some would even say he was an abomination of a child. He had nothing physically that would make him an abomination, rather it was his mind that frightened people. People would speak of the boy wandering around the palace searching for any bugs or bird, and would then grab them, and attempt to torture them. Rumors of servants walking in on him slowly crushing mice were not rarely spoken during his childhood   His parents quickly found out of course. Zamiri did her best to teach Doudra kindness, and to not hurt those around them, for cooperation is a better tool and better gift than anything more brutal, something (despite how he would seem to people now) he took close to heart. His father would do his best to foster his son, so he could become much more controlled and calm, and of course avoiding hurting creatures in such brutal ways.   Despite his apparent mental flaws, Doudra grew up to be a genius in all senses of the word in all subjects he studied. He became an expert mathematician, incredibly knowledgeable in the law of the land, and other such things. The one subject that interested him the most however, was history, for that was most interesting to him. What pulled him the closest was the stories of the noble city states of drubia to the north east of the empire, and their brutal manipulation and backstabbing of each other was nigh on legendary and stories spread quickly about the drubian people.   Thus, when he became an adult, he decided with his father that he would manage the drubian city states and its various people and noble houses. Many people would joke and mock the idea, saying it was nigh on suicide to attempt such a feat, for the royal courts of Drubia are paved with bones and painted with blood. It seemed certainly possible, as a assassin nearly managed to kill Doudra, and would have succeeded if not for his father grabbing the assassin's throat and crushing it. It seemed hopeless for anyone to tame such wild noble houses.   Yet Doudra succeeded, through playing the Game of Blood. Few can ever truly say everything that he did, but the things that were official was his alliances to some of the lower houses, then using their influence to take out the bigger houses. Much like his enemies, he used assassins, but in this case he used the empire's own assassins, and took out powerful members of enemy houses. Finally, after the death of one of his biggest rivals, the control of the city was his. While sometimes a house would try and gain more influence, Doudra was quick to shut them down with brutal efficiency.   He would manage to do something none had done before, not even his own father, he had tamed the City States of Blood, Drubia. In fact, in some strange way, he had managed to unite them under their proper name of the Drubian States, focusing their attention outside rather than internally, helping the city expand to unprecedented levels and help grew the prosperity of all its people.   Of course, this was put on pause when Doudra quickly returned to Gatherlak for the sake of his father. He could feel it as soon as he stepped into the palace, the smell of the blood game, and his siblings were the players. He felt no love or trust for his siblings, so he began hatching his scheme to take advantage of them, turning them against each other, while preparing his own strength.   With his father's end, Doudra quickly returned home, and immediately began getting to work on expanding. Despite being the Drubian city states not being that wide spread in the province, they quickly spread their influence outwards, moving deeper into other territories with brutal efficiency and terrifying power. Their march only ended up being slowed down and stopped by the Boven Warstate. Thanks to their business connections, Drubia was easily able to survive the Silence, but money was very much at a loss during some periods.   The Golden Frontier's discovery will begin the domino of change in the continent, at least thats what Doudra believes, for he has begun preparing his armies, and using his connections to his advantage. Whatever may happen, his path shall be paved with the blood and bones of his enemies.

Education

As mentioned, Doudra is a genius in many ways, for his talent for knowledge and his intelligence were rivaled by few. He spoke of how it was nearly trivial for him to learn of the topics during the school days, even correcting his own teachers during his studies. Because of this, he usually has little interest in discussing things he already knows, rather discussing new or strange ideas or philosophy, which is one of his favorite topics.

Mental Trauma

Whether it was by nature or nurture, Doudra grew up nigh on emotionless and with a brutal look in his eye. While he dies show compassion and loyalty to those he cares about, to others he seems as if a brutal, manipulative, and opportunistic backstabber who has little interest in the feelings of others.

Personality Characteristics

Likes & Dislikes

There are only a few things that Doudra likes, and the things outside of violence and torture number few, but his biggest enjoyment in life is philosophy. Whether is how one should live, act or think, or on how the mortal soul or mind works, he is willing to listen and discuss with all, and perhaps have some wine to drink while discussing it. Other than that, he takes great interest in speaking and discussing current events.   Doudra can however get easily bored by topics of things he already knows and understands. On top of this, he despises being disrespected by joke or through slight, and is quick to "remedy" the issue, whether through violence or through strange disappearances.
