The Golden Frontier

We find ourselves in the world of Drakenelm, in a time of great change. What was once thought to be an unending ocean of simple islands, one discovery is going to change the course of history forever: The discovery of the golden frontier. A strange and unforgiving continent with strange creatures and alien races that have never been seen in the Drake Lands, human like creatures with animal features, a trio of races working together in large nomadic tribes, and endless jungle filled to the brim with blood thirsty ophidian creatures. Stranger still, creatures thought to be of simple myth, and others who have been thought to be long gone suddenly appear, with explorers of the strange continent discovering ancient ruins and powerful magic, with more and more mysteries being unveiled and less answers being found. As the squabbling children of the now dead Golden Dragon, King Kaladan, aim their eyes to the continent, the balance of power between them may cause yet another continent spanning great war, one which may lead to even more deaths than the great succession. The hands of the world now lies in those that leave for the new continent, as their actions shall define the future of all living beings.   May the Golden Dragon guide us in this uncertain future, and lead us to unity once more, whether in life, or in death.
