Freelords of Upper Aenar
Over a century old in its current holdings, the ANAGAR line has been a source of growth and stability in the northern borderlands of Upper Aenar. The two previous Lords, both female, expanded and consolidated their lands by enjoying the freedom at the edge of the kingdom. They are one of the mid-tier freelord lineages in the area now. A shared border with the Thornlands and, specifically, the Solyr has resulted in a lot of tension and cross-border 'incidents' between the parties.
Structure
Lord Masil Anagar is the sole authority within the Anagar family and holdings. However he does rely on dependable advice. Since he first took the title and responsibility, Lord Masil has had a voice for such advice from his uncle, Ser Dadrovel Anagar.
History
The ANAGAR line was raised to vassals of the Throne in -38BL by King Tharyion for recognition of loyalty and service during the Eorlswar. It was bestowed upon the 1st born son of the war hero and has continued since that time; growing constantly. Its position near the border has benefited the family by allowing a rapid expansion of their lands and population. The arrival of Solyr on the Thornlands border has stymied this and given rise to infrequent border strife.

Border Disputes
Interaction between Anagar and the Prince of Thorns are minimal so most contact between the entities occurs through the followers of the Solyr. This has a worsening effect on relations.
