Bashamon

The Bashamon line has been ennobled for nearly two centuries. Such a lineage would normally be accorded much honor but the father of the current Lord was one of the Presumptuous Lords who attempted to seize Rhuvael early in the Struggles. During the siege of Rhuvael, the tower holding many of the 'Lords families was hit by siege engines and entire lines were wiped out.

The current head of the family, Nanris Bashamon, was one of the few survivors at the tender age of eight years old. There was much argument about the fate of the surviving family members but mercy won out in all cases. Nanris Bashamon was taken in as a ward by Eorl Randuin Brynagar.

When the Bashamon came of age, he was granted Dalris as a life-grant by the old Eorl.

In the 55th Year of the Empty Throne, upon the marriage of Nynelle Bashamon to the Eorl Rovin Brynagar of Swords, the Lord NANRIS negotiated heavily for the hand of his daughter. As such, in the spring of 56 ET, the coastal town of Dinoras and its incomes are subject to LORD NANRIS BASHAMON for the remainder of his life. In addition, the estate of Dalris was gifted in perpetuity to the Bashamon line as loyal subjects of SWORDS.
