While officially tasked with acting in the best interests of Awarth and overseen by the Council of Anchors, the Blastguard operates with significant autonomy. Its leadership, a cadre of hardened officers and strategists, often pursues its own vision for the city-state’s future—one that does not always align with the needs or desires of the populace.
