House Stormcaller

The Stormcaller Family is one of the Grand Houses of Serony, and they contribute to all parties within the Alliance of Kings treaty. Led by Duke Aethos Stormcaller, commonly referred to as Lord Stormcaller, son of Vaetheryon.

History

Prominent events from House Stormcaller's history. A Legacy of Wealth

The Stormcallers are one of the most prominent noble families of Serony. They rose to power and wealth in the early 14th century with the discovery of the cobalt mines on the northern shores. With its unique uses and coloring possibilities, the mineral became highly sought after. However, for the Stormcallers, cobalt had another special purpose. It could be used for specific tonics, toxins, and as a conduit for air magic.

A Secret Order

In the mid-14th century, an emissary from the secret Order of Elvanor reached out to the Stormcallers and opened their eyes to the magical aspect of the world. Ever since, the Stormcallers has maintained a tradition where their children have been able to study the Ancient Arts at Elvanor.

Kings & Nobles

An alliance was built between the Kingdom of Stormhold and the Stormcallers in the 16th century. As a token of being offered a position at the court, the noble family gifted the royals a vast of amount of mixed cobalt dye that could be used to paint both the exterior and interior structures. The King of Stormhold used this compound to color the roofs of the noble districts and the castle, which would showcase the wealth of the Kingdom.

The Ancient Temple

Around the mid-17th century, the Stormcallers assisted in the restoration of the ancient Felgarth temple. The Order of Felgarth would once again become a pillar of Elvanor, and the Stormcallers established a Scholar front together with Vazayus Uuthar.

The Fleet of the North

With a strong love for the ocean, Aethos Stormcaller would be the one to bring the family dynasty forward. He steered the fortune that had built their good name towards creating a fleet. With the support of the High King, the Stormcaller fleet would become one of the greatest naval forces in the continent.

In 1714, Aethos Stormcaller took over the role as High Elder of the Felgarth Order after the tragic demise of Vazayus Uuthar.
