Captain Ambrose al-Adin
Hailing from Paxander, al-Adin the sailor started his life 'Holborn' at a time when Elves, such as he, were the pinnacle of high society. It was not long thereafter, however, that his parents were taken and slain during the atrocities of the Purge. The infant was saved by a weretiger, who spirited the child away to safety aboard a fast schooner, a merchantman out of Tyler's Twins but registered in Greynor with the Merchant and Sailors' Guild.
Child grew to lad grew to man, with barely his feet ever touching the sands of the shore. At home upon the waves and borne by the wind was he, no child of the land but of the salt and sea. al-Adin grew to man and into the captain's cabin as naturally as if the vessels he rode had accepted him as one of their own. He it was who discovered Kowloon Walled City, and who first circumnavigated Taisha. It was he who first bed Sheherizade the Temptress, to save his ship and crew, and even though he kept it quiet, his crew mates all? They knew.
