The Shrouded Death
Shrouded in a thick mist, silhouetted by the faint light dispersed throughout the fog are the outskirts of Kanker. Derelict wooden homes house huddled masses and wooden piers begin to rise out of the muck as you approach the center. A shallow wall with a heavy gate loom ahead, sharp stakes placed at its base. The mist does not relent, muffling all sound and shrouding most light, only the occasional lit window and street lamp piercing through.
