The Narwhal
Long and sleek, with two cabins - one for the crew and her estimable captian and the other for cargo - the Narwhal has been commissioned by Colonel Starrin the Eldorian Legion - 3rd Expeditionary Force to make supply runs between Wargun and the fort that bears his name in the Moosewood. Her typical schedule includes several runs from middle of the Water Moon until the late Uthar Moon - the only moons guaranteed to be free of ice. Her first run typically includes critical supplies for the far flung force, with subsequent runs including those legionnaires either foolish enough to volunteer for and unlucky enough to be assigned service in the Frozen Wastes.
She is in truth a retired whaling ship. Passengers and most supplies sit out on the open deck, subject to the icy waters and storms of the Great North Sea. Her captain generally leaves the fort with the tide, typically as soon as the sun crests the horizon. She runs straight for nearly two days across the sea, bound for Olaf's Wand on the White Talon before hugging the coastline the rest of the way to Wargun. Unless pressed, Captain Abberduff knows the dangers of running in the dark around the rocks and shoals of the Wartin Gulf. As such, he has the common sense to keep her anchored at night - just far enough off into the Gulf to avoid the hungry denizens that can be found on ashore.
