Demographics
Mostly human with some gnomes halfing, elf's, Orcs from the Gashak Horde to the south and Goliaths from the Iron Mountains to the north.

Governor directly appointed by the King along with advisors selected by the governor

Well defended with a permanent guard known as the Blue Coats.

A hodgepodge of grand aqueducts and well paved roads as well as poorer quality work down in the slums

History
One of the new towns of the The Kingdom of Tronde that sprung up after the collapse of the The Empire of Thirsk. As one of the younger settlements, the town has had a rather checkered past starting as a smuggler base on the border to move people and goods from the Kingdom to The City State of Viken in order to avoid the serfdom laws and heavy taxation present in Tronde at the time.
The area was later 'incorporated' into the Kingdom about 150 years ago after a vein of Adamantine was discovered this led to a rush of migration to the area the fast growth ultimately led to the dichotomy seen today with a rich well maintained architecture well away from the mines and closer to the river that runs through the city and the poorer slums where the populace flocked for quick work in the mines.
Destroyed by Orryn Timbers in 1452 during his failed Runeman Uprising
