The Church of Sunlight
I pledge my Sword and Soul to the Order and the Way,

Structure
The Archimandrite - The Head of the Order and Keeper of the Way.
Mandrite - The two deputies to the Archimandrite one is in charge of cavalry the other infantry
Senechal = The right hand of the Archimandrite will deal with the day to day running of the Order appointed directly by the Archimandrite themselves from within the Order, if they come from the Council of Masters they must relinquish their seat.
Master Protector - The commander of an entire area for the Order or a very important stronghold Church/Cathedral for example the Holy Site of the Eternal Flame has two one for the North Entrance and one for the South. When a one dies their replacement is selected from the Protectors that have shown the most skill and merit in being promoted. There can never be more than 24 Master Protectors at any one time who will sit in the Council of Masters. This is the pool from which all future Mandrites and Archmandrites are selected by lot.
Protector - The first true rank for a Paladin within the Order and an important milestone in an Adept's training especially when less that half will ever pass the trials to attain it.
Adept - An initiate who has been accepted for training by the Church will often squire for current Protectors.
Initiate - These are potential Paladins who have shown promise or willing to swear fealty to the Order.
Lay Brother - Will perform the day to day tasks of the Church, cooking cleaning etc.

History
Founded 200 year ago during the War of the Three Faiths by the great Paladin Gwyn Sunsword to protect the continent of Talor from the dark forces that infest the planes
