The dwarves agree to share what they know in return for assistance ridding their operations near the Copperlake of a hydra that was plaguing them. The party agrees, nearly dying en masse, but slaying the hydra in the end, winning important information regarding the approaches to the ruins, which they learn are the ruins of the ancient dwarven stronghold of Ghrinzhekk.
