Tezca
Originally known as Amaranthine, the island has always been home to a large amount of Tabaxi, although this population has historically been fractured in to many warring clans.
Long before the forming of The Enclave of the North, Amaranthine was home to many different cultures.
The Al'Sect came to the island long ago and very little documents survive from the time. They settled and prospered for a time, often clashing with Tabaxi clans over territory.
Eventually the Fel'Gesparen arrived and took control of the island, scattering the Al'Sect and sending the survivors in to hiding. The Fel'Gesparen attempted to eradicate the Tabaxi clans from the island completely, initiating the Blood Clan War - the first time the Tabaxi clans united against a common enemy.
United as the Blood Clan, the Tabaxi defeated the Fel'Gesparen, hunting them to near eradication. After their victory, the Blood Clan renamed the island Tezca, in honour of the most popular Tabaxi deity at the time.
Years later, the Blood Clan fractured and the Clans would return to their aggressive territorial traditions.
After The Enclave of the North formed, Tezca would become a hub of illicit trade and opportunity. Too difficult for the Enclave to control, yet too isolated to pose a threat, Tezca continued to operate under it's own fractured power structure with many Tabaxi Clans, older native Tribes (like the remnants of the Al'Sect) and powerful Houses (such as House Velshar).
The Blink changed little for Tezca. The islands population may be more diverse now, thanks to refugees flocking back to The Old World after the darkness but much of the established population persisted through the event - Lirimidium, for example, apparently continued to operate as normal under the 70 years of darkness and the Al'Sect Tribe describe the time as a period of restful respite.
In 2078 EC, Tezca formed a tenuous alliance with Felmethas, with great banks of Belshoy funding Felmathas' rebellion against the Orleath Coraar under the leadership of Faephine Liamoira and The Last Felmethian Company.
