Eaufonde

Eaufonde is located along the shores of small but deep bay in central Claimgaoth Coast. It's surrounded by protective walls, separating it from the marshes and hills of the region. Closer to the bay is the city's main infrastructure, including an enormous harbor to offload and onload goods, buildings for organizing trade deals, small temples, and tightly packed housing and shops. Several canals intersect the city to transport people and supplies within it. Further inalnd, buildings are more spread out allowed for marketplaces and farmhouses.
Eaufonde is the biggest trading port for goods to exchange between the western continents: Sirhelanga and Rauwhena, and West Alcao. Because of this, the city has a huge population and a wide variety of goods available in markets. It also has many bases of operation for guilds and embassies of foreign nations.
The city was first established as a small village of early human settlers on the Coast. It was later conquered by a pirate lord during the Caithilia Collapse who gave it is current name, roughly translating to 'deep water' in Krysinos. It's rulership has exchanged hands a lot between various pirates, the Domain of Kriemhild, a brief and unstable revolutionary government, and now a series of ruling businessmen. The leader of a major trade business gained lordship of the city a few centuries back and the series of succesion has led to Lord Lothaire Basile being Eaufonde's current leader.
