The pilot asleep in the Captain Quarters may select a spell from the list below. It will use the pilot's spellcasting ability. Each spell may be cast one time each day. 1. Mending - when cast this way, roll a level 7 Cure Wounds spell for the ship. Special. Doesn't affect creatures aboard the ship. 2. Fly - affects the ship, not creatures on board. Cast this way it lasts for 8 hours. 3. Mage Armor - affects either the ship or up to 8 willing creatures aboard the ship. 4. Haste - on either the ship or up to 8 willing creatures.
Starpetal can move up to her speed (the pilot's INT modifier multiplied by 5) feet regardless of weather or the sails. As part of this move, it can use its naval ram. Naval Ram AC: 20 HP: 100 (damage threshold 10) Starpetal has advantage on all saving throws relating to crashing when it crashes into a creature or an object. Any damage she takes from the crash is applied to the naval ram rather than to the ship. These benefits don't apply if another vessel crashes into Starpetal.
Actions
On its turn, Starpetal can take 3 actions, choosing from the options below. It can take only 2 actions if it has fewer than twenty crew and only 1 action if it has fewer than ten. It can't take these actions if no one is asleep in the Captain's Quarters with the Dream Orb in place. Ballistae Ranged Weapon Attack:+6, Range 120/480, One target Hit: 16 (3d10) 3d10 piercing damage AC: 15 HP: 50 Immunities: poison, psychic DMG 255 Eldritch Cannons Ranged Weapon Attack:+6, Range 600/2400 ft, One target Hit: 44 (8d10) force damage damage plus 10 (3d6) 3d6 lightning damage AC: 19 HP: 75 Immunities: poison These mysterious cannons appear only when used, and seem to be an extension of Starpetal. In addition to the target, creatures and objects within a 10-foot sphere must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 (3d6) 3d6 lightning damage
