Tuono

Tuono, the father god, has been said to have existed long before any other creature or presence stirred in the void. He existed in an empty realm where he kept order and balance. Tuono existed in this primordial realm in solitude until a thought caused him to question his purpose in this empty realm. He questioned why an empty realm required his hand to stabilise it, and his question was answered by an unforeseen being. Suna would emerge within his realm and together they would maintain this existence together. The two primordial gods would acquire an unwanted company in the primordial realm, demons would attempt to corrupt them and bend the realm to their will. Tuono resisted these demons, however, worried that he and Suna alone would not be strong enough to resist the calls of the demons. He decided that in order to keep the integrity of his realm, he would split his soul amongst new beings that he and Suna would create. Each a manifestation of his being, each capable of resisting the demons in their own right. This was the birth of the Alkutari, the children of Tuono and Suna, and this would ultimately lead to his downfall. While the Alkutari did indeed resist and rebuff the demons, they longed themselves to do what Tuono had done, and create beings and manifestations of their own, risking upsetting the fine balance of the primordial realm. Tuono kept the order that was being defied by his children, killing them when he saw no other way to stop them, this continued until Tuono was deceived by his children and through accident murdered his wife Suna with an axe. As Suna burst into flames and became the Sun, a flame flew from her being and caught Tuono, causing him to be set ablaze and die. His body would be the matter from which the earth would be created, his children responsible for the features and creatures we know today, referred to as Tuono's Corpse. Tuono would continue to live as a spirit from a new empty realm, he would give guidance to his children and other deities from here and thereon.
However, in his death and grief of his actions, it has been said that Tuono's soul split once more, creating the Hidden One, Aurnju. The evil spirit god is thought to either have always been a part of Tuono's being or simply a manifestation after his physical death. Tuono would be locked in a battle between himself and his counterpart, seeking to maintain order or destroy it.
