The Central Kingdoms are a ever changing collection of feuding monarchies, trading republics and crafty clergymen working to cut their peice out in history. This prosperous land, though internally troubled it is, is flanked by far greater threats to both the east and west. To the east lies the great Runic Empire, an expanding multicultural empire that uses intrigue and subversive tactics to conquer neighbouring states. To the west lies the wastes of the fallen Amarath Kingdoms, once a rival in its greatness to its eastern neighbour, it was destroyed, its fields set ablaze and its population slaughtered or routed as refugees. Now its wastes are plagued by the fierce Numari warriors, an otherwordly horse tribe that has layed dormant for the last century.
