Autas

Autas is a member of the Alkutari and a principle god of the The Hallowed Faith. Autas has been a very influential deity in the hallowed religion, being both an important god in the era before the war with the gods and after, when humans had been expelled from Tempala. After humans had been expelled from Tempala, Autas was credited for creating the rivers and oceans using the blood of Tuono, as part of the plan by the gods to separate and weaken the human race. Due to this close association with Tuono, using his blood as the water within the oceans and rivers, Autas is also the keeper of Tuono's heart. Tuono's heart is said to be a key to immense power and knowledge sought by demons such as Dartavoss, which Autas keeps hidden beneath the Blood Ocean.   Autas is often credited with helping humans establish the roots of settlement, given that many prominent settlements are located directly upon or near a water source. One common tale is how the city of Canyndor was founded, wherein the old Caenen tribes who would settle the region would follow two fish along the river Yarrow, one golden and the other black. When they reached subtle grasslands marked with a great crag rock beneath the Dorian mountains, the fish began to swim in circles and the tribe took this as a sign to settle the area.
