Pip

The Pip is the second smallest denomination in the Doric Currency structure, worth four Small Pips and worth one-seventh of a Penny. The origins of the Pip are murky as the coin has been in circulation in a similar form since before chroniclers deemed it an important enough subject to discuss. It is thought the Pip is a holdover from the ancient tribe-kingdoms of the Caenan people from central Doria. The Pip comes in the form of a medium-sized pure-Silver coin, often with a simple design of the monarch who approved its minting as well as some other simple design on the other side. The displayed image of the Pip is that of a coin minted by Grand Duke Armas IV, whose crude image is displayed on one side, on the other is a symbol of the Tulip, the traditional symbol of the House of Torajoki to which Armas was born.
