Bolus

Bolus is one of the near-mythical brothers who are credited with founding the city of Brondholm after defecting from the rule their elder brother Midorias who led a brutal regime in the ancient city of Halfsburgh. He would eventually become the more influential of the brothers as his elder brother Cedor, would seek seclusion in the north, eventually succumbing to the elements and being buried in the grand temple known as Cedor's Tomb. Bolus would seek to establish a form of democracy in the fledgeling state of Brondholm he and Cedor had founded, although after several centuries following his death, it would succumb to the trappings of monarchy.
Though Bolus would not live a long life by modern standards, he would greatly expand both internal infrastructure of Brondholm as founding outposts settlements all around the Upper Bryn Valley which would eventually begin to form the modern-day Kingdom of Durabryn. He was a particularly religious man, having been a firm believer in his family lineage leading back to Turmoniin the Betrayer who had led a war against the gods, died, and been resurrected by Mukko to found the city of Halfsburgh. This religiosity would lead Bolus to fund the building of a great temple to the gods, which in subsequent millennia would be expanded to form the greatest temple to the gods on all of Tuono's Corpse, the Bolumn Cathedral.
