Cedor
Cedor is a historic figure who has taken on almost mythical lore within the culture of the Brynic, credited as one of the two brothers who founded the city of Brondholm and thus laid the foundations for the Kingdom of Durabryn.
The stories of the feats of Cedor begin with him and his brother breaking away from the rule of their elder brother, Midorias, and taking a group of settlers westward into the grasslands of the Upper Bryn Valley. There they would settle the city of Brondholm, however, they would still be plagued by the cruelty of their elder brother who would seek to claim this new settlement for his own, leading to a series of conflicts in which Cedor and his brother would prove victorious.
Cedor and his brother Bolus would rule over the fledgeling city of Brondholm together for many years, however, the two brothers had very different ideas on how the future of their land should be ruled. While Bolus favoured the establishment of a senate from which a wide range of views and agendas would keep the leadership of Brodholm from straying down too dangerous a path, Cedor preferred the leadership of a single ruler who would prevent the greed of the many from churning up conflict at every turn. While Cedor and his brother would never turn fully against one another, their devotees would rise up in conflict against one another in a series of battles known as the Followers' War, where they would try to push the agenda of their favoured brother.
As he aged, and Bolus began to become the dominant voice of power in Brondholm, Cedor would retreat to further bastions of seclusion in the north, where he would eventually pass and be immortalised in the grand Cedor's Tomb on the northern tip of The Knives.
