Jeer's Home

The front of Jeers home features a field medic sign commonly used within Neptis hung beside the doorway. This area has long been used as ward and medical area for those in Leccer that are injured. The home itself is owned by an forest elf named Jeer Caladrel.

Purpose / Function

This house has been long used by the Caladrel family to take care of those who are sick and injured and this has not changed under Jeer's takeover of the family trade. It also doubles as a small apothecary, and the housing for Jeer himself.

Design

The main area is a 30 foot by 20 foot rectangle with several rooms off-shooting on each side. Each room is a 10 foot square containing a bed, desk with a chair, and a bedside table. Behind the main area is Jeer's home and greenhouse. Within Jeers home there is a dining room with several silver plates and silverware set out most days. To the right there is a small bedroom with a single bed within it. forward there is a door out to a greenhouse where a plethora of medicinal herbs can be found.

Sensory & Appearance

The medical area is very homely looking, and there are several comfortable couches and areas to sit while waiting to be attended to. Jeer's home itself is a small quaint little area that seems to constantly smell of lavender from burning incenses that are hanging from the ceiling.

Valuables

If someone ventures out to the garden there is a chance that they may find rare and interesting herbs, with a successful perception check of 25 they can find several rare druid herbs. With a nature recall knowledge check of DC 25, or a herbalism lore check of DC 20 the player can surmise that there is no way to grow these sufficiently in this area without druidic magics.

Alterations

At first, the home was just the housing for the Caladrel family, which had an extra guest room for a single patient. As Leccer grew, so did their home, adding several guest room expansions and a general area for those who do not need a bed but need slight medical treatment or advice. Even now there is an addition added on of an enclosed greenhouse space that Jeer has been using to grow medicinal herbs in the winter.

Architecture

The front of the home shows a small wooden door with a medical sign bolted to the wooden frame swinging in the wind. As one opens it can easily be seen that this used to be a general living area for the Caladrel family that was converted to a meeting area for people who are not as seriously injured as those who need immediate medical treatment in one of the wards. The walls and ceilings are low, but accommodating of even a large creature, and the area has a nice homely feel to it.
