Dür

Dür is ruled by the Galvas family who won complete power around 1785. This family won power through elimination and subjugation of the other families. Though many within Dür find their lives full of hardship, the folk who have wealth within Dür are extremely well off and create many of the luxuries the world uses today. Galvaka is an industrial center that focuses on the production of luxury items that are exported locally and internationally.
During the 1800s, Therris successfully staged a coup within the city to cut off the Barons from power. This successfully was completed in the month of February by a ragtag group of adventurers. One of which, the rat king Harold Whistler was elected to mayor of the town which was later renamed to Tír Dhúchais out of respect for their fiance who was killed during the coup.
