Introduction
The Russian Federation is the post soviet nation that emerged from the fall of the Soviet Union and was placed under the tender care of President Boris Yeltsin in 1991 however crisis' like the Chechen War, Economic down turn, mass expansion of a exclusive Rich higher class known as the Oligarchs and finally Soviet Nationalism saw his resignation and the Implementation of Vladimir Putin as the president of The Federation. A slow but clear transformation occurred, as the Russian Economy puts up the face of a Free and Fair Economy and portrays an image of country that cares about it's people, including raising an entire generation of free thinking Russians. In reality the Country steadily eroded it's democratic Freedoms and instead pursued the goal of an Imperial Russia Restored. All from the lens of Soviet Nationalism and Romanticism. Over the years Russia spreads it's wings and influenced the world's nations, funding a rise of Fundamentalist Ideologies, most often Far Right ones who went on to destabilize the world and saw the re-emergence of History's greatest evils. Under Putin Russia became a State Capitalist Hellhole and a Imperialistic Fascist Regime that became officially recognized in 2027.Government

A sweeping number of changes brought about by Russia's unjustified siege on Ukraine and her people allowed the Government to centralize all authority and power to Moscow, a process already long under way since Putin's Election. By 2025 the Government entirely cast aside the Federal system and retired the role of Prime Minister, as well as weakening all other branches of government to where all of their authority is derived from the Kremlin and nothing else. By the time 2027 passed, the entire Imperial System was ready to go with all the legal ground work completed to formally transition the Russian Republic into the Russian Empire to the thunderous applause of millions of Russians. The entire time the Russian Constitution was eroded in a similar fashion to the American one and finally gave out only a few years before the Americans basically cast aside their own in 2030 and the two nations joined together with Germany and Imperial China to take out the few standing Free Powers left in the world.Economy
Russia's economy was that of Exports, they like CCP China focused on exporting goods, their big export was Oil and natural Gas which was rivalled by Saudi Arabia and Norwegian Gas Companies, selling to the EU. Russia depended on it's exports to Europe to stabilize the nation and worked on satellite the economies of various Post Soviet States in a effort to secure former Soviet Resources. Russia also used it's influence to support Candidates in foreign elections like President Winters in America and aided in his victory in 2016 through the use of social media and propaganda which was then used to secure favorable deals for Russia even if it didn't actually always work out. Russia was a very tradition economy and had within it a lot of the Corporatists country and established aristocracy that would later become the norm in Post War countries in the future.Corruption
In the early days Corruption was out of hand, but Putin managed to gather up the Oligarchs into his sphere of Influence and instead used corruption as a vulnerable under belly to other countries, using money , blackmail and subversion to get what the state wanted. Rather then siphoning money from the government, the oligarchs siphoned money and power from the people. Once done Putin cast them aside in 2022 sacrificing their wealth and power to grab what remained all while telling them it'd be fine. Depending on Fossil Fuels Russia was able to grow it's economy and welcomed the presence of foreign companies which helped grow Russia. Nations sponsored it's rise, namely Europe as it was seen as a more reliable source of oil then Saudi Arabia and while Saudi Arabia itself was stable, the region it was in was not. Didn't stop them from buying Saudi Oil though.Investments
Russia grew it's influence by burrowing from America's hand book and investing in nation's it's interested in such as Syria, India, Iran and most importantly, China. By helping such countries grow they made them much more pliable to their requests and gave Russia the ability force those nations to take certain decisions. Russia also invested abroad by proxy to various companies in the West which grew it's message and influence.Living Standards
The average Russian during the brief Liberal Golden age could afford to buy phones, luxury goods, games and what not and the average family live in comfort however this was short lived as Russia experienced a gradual decline in Living Standards as the Imperial Regime steadily took over the country. Economic Freedom was lost and self determination was secondary. Wages fell and so did people's ability to disagree with the Government. Many Young Russians were Optimistic and hopeful for the future, but towards the 2010's that hope began to die out. Rights began decaying and their ability to affect Russia's future shrunk. Leading to a overwhelming sense of sorrow and oppression not seen since the Soviet Union further compounded by the Union's fall and the resulting desolation. Russia has always been a nation of pressing forwards in the face of terrible odds, a concept that saw it through the 2nd World War and kept the people going even under an oppressive and immense system of the Soviet Union, rife with Abuses and flaws of similar nature found in Capitalist nations across the world. Sadly Gorbachev's noble efforts to build a brighter future for the Soviet Union was not realized and then further crushed by the increasingly Autocratic Russian Federation. The Autocracy of the Soviet Union instilled a sense of Fear and passivity in the population, making the Rise of the Imperial system ultimately easy compared to the rest of the world. Young Russians were always told to not express themselves and to obey the Government even before wide spread control contaminated the Russian Republic. Eventually the attitude spread and millions of Russians were isolated by their own country and forced out. Those that remained tried to resist but were in such minority, and were ultimately shunned, Kidnapped and killed.Hyper Conservatism
Russia started out a revolutionary idea, In the Soviet Union they sought to bring about global change but ultimately became more of the same. A sense of Hyper soviet Nationalism overtook the Union instilling a conformist mindset in Russians. When the times changed and people tried to express themselves openly and freely in Russia, they were met with a harsh crack down. Ideas of Free Expression, Open Sexuality, Inclusivity and Equality were stamped out in the name of a Traditional and Conservative political Order that would rule everything forever and never be accountable to the people, no matter their class. In the end nothing truly changed, the Church controlled society, The government remained in ultimate power and the poor were still the poor and the rich just always got richer.
