Australian Forces Deploy in Kurdistan
Military action
Australian Forces deploy in Kurdistan to stand off with Turkish Forces trying to monopolise on the increasingly inevitable collapse of Syria. Official Mission statements clarify that Commonwealth Interests are required to preserve Kurdistan in the region as a part of a larger Stabilisation Campaign in the Middle East, releasing statements that Australia intends to implement a two-state solution to the Syria - Kurdistan issue by giving both Nations sea access that'll be protected by the Commonwealth.
Additionally, documents at the time state the commonwealth's intention to link Iraq and Syria more closely together to make up for territorial loss for Syria and resolve Iraq's currently nightmarish Logistical Situation and therefore encourage future stability.
Despite the set plan, the deployment of Australians on yet more foreign soil had many Pacific Nationals not just in Australia concerned about more War. Russia typically opposed the deployment along with Turkey who released a series of statements that accuse of Australia preparing for a 2nd Gallipoli despite continued statements from Australia that the Mission is Anti-Colonial in nature, Australia's history doesn't do it any favours.
