US Green Berets take on the Russian Spetnaz during a Russian envoy to Afghanistan. Deploying in the dead of night, and throughout the Agiz Compound, special forces went at it to fatal results, however despite heavy resistance and casualties, the Taliban and Russian Spetnaz couldn't stop the Green Berets from Assassinating General Vologiv Galahadi which sabotaged the relations of Russia and Afghanistan and continuing to neutralise them from picking a side on the Geopoltical stage.
Of course, there were consequences to this, as it was the first time recognised SF forces engaged in such open hostilities. Russia slams the US for reckless geopolitical interference and the US Slams Russia for Imperialistic practices.
Neither of them came off as terribly convincing but it was certain, eventually, the United States and Russia would have to fight, the only question was where and how. House had a plan but he had to move all the pieces correctly.
