Military: Battle
Depiction^ Russian and Belarussian Forces advanced on the Capital City of Kyiv again and met heavy resistance from the Polish Vanguard, Eagle battalion, Ukrainian Armed Forced, Armed Militants and Russian Rebels, fighting raged through the streets for 8 hours as thousands of soldiers, men and women fought valiantly. What Equipment the Ukrainians could get was used on the large advancing Russian Armoured Columns to great effect with heavily fortified streets and pillboxes keeping back entire companies of Russian men while snow fell. Equipment on both sides failed to operate properly in the increasingly frigid conditions. Russia gained several portions of the city and broke through areas of the Exterior defence elements and inflicting heavy casualties. Russian Forces also had the benefit of Air Superiority which they used to drop bombs and fly drones over the heads of Ukrainians. Several Apartment complexes came crashing down as large lines of Russian artillery shelled the city for hours after the Russian advance was paused. Russians lost roughly 12,654 Troops and 133 Vehicles while the Ukrainians lost 10,553 Soldiers and 15,432 Civilians due to heavy shelling and bombing of the Ubran city center and the bombing of fleeing Ukrainian citizens who tried to get out of the way of the fighting, Russian command mistakenly labelled it as a Military convoy.
