Murder of Magnus
Whodunnit and why? Why ? Why?
After escaping Meerwacht we found shelter in Seeblick. One of us, Magnus Stonehammer appeared to be in infected but still ok enough to be himself unlike the other infected. To be safe he stayed alone on his little boat in quarantine. One morning we checked up on him and found him dead in his boat tent.
Magnus appears to have died of blood loss. He was found with his throat cleanly slit.
We couldn't identify what weapon matches the cut.
Magnus was found dead in his boat a little out the harbor of Seeblick. There was no sign (nor room) of the murderer still being present.
None of his affects were stolen (not even his pendant with a precious stone) - which seems to rule out a robbery gone sour.
The place was also cleaner than it should be. There was a distinct lack of blood - not matching with the method of death.
A little away from the boat, on the nearby docks a trickle trail of dried blood was found by Arti. The trail led to the town square where it went cold. the only other odd thing at th square was the Foul water of the well. We don't know how/if this relates to the murder.
Death of Magnus When Magnus was found he was showing clear signs of rigor mortis - meaning he would have died 2- 6 hrs earlier.
Bree witnessed one of the Ingrids enter the bat at the time of the murder. If she isn't lying this woud mean the smugglers have nothing to do with the death, but it doesn't seem like she would have a reasion to lie about this.
We don't know... Could it be because of us?

Update
As a magnus copy was created in the final battle it was clear he somehow got into contact with a Lichenposter (as they produce the spores to allow this to happen). He was killed by them. Still don't know why though._________________________________________________________________________
Notes
When telling the peope in Seeblick's inn everyone looked devastated. The only two who were more broody and annoyed rather than sad were Alexander and Muireall den Mhuir.
Currently everyone is pointing fingers at each other. Considering it's a small community mostly people from outside are being singled out.
Perhaps we could ask when Ingrid saw him last or if Erick saw something?
